Model Railroad Trains by K-Line
If you want to expand a great train set on a budget, consider the K-Line PRR B-6 Steam Switcher 0-6-0 w/Lionel TMCC & RailSounds & electrocouplers front and rear or Lackawanna 4-6-2 Steam Loco & Tender. You get a lot of locomotive for the money from K-Line. If you need a powerful locomotive set, look for the K-25332 Great Northern F-7 AA twin powered diesel engine set with matching non-powered B dummy unit. Layouts set in the old American West might need a Pacific Lumber #28 Shay Steam Locomotive. There are lots of great K-Line rolling stock favorites, from the conventional Burlington Northern "O Scale Classics" (tm) Coil Car, Illinois Central Gulf 4-Bay Hopper or NP Die-Cast Skeleton Log Car w/6 Logs to passenger cars like the Erie Lackawanna Heavyweight Observation Car, US Army troop carrier, or Long Island RR Streamliner Coach Car. If you are looking for finer detailed cars like the aluminum NYC Empire State Express Parlor Car or Golden State Streamliner Diner Car, or some of the more interesting rolling stock choices from K-Line like the Solar Power Demonstration Car w/operating Voltmeter, State themed Quarter Hopper Bank Cars, or the TV Camera Flat Car with television station truck and helicopter and an operating track-level TV camera with pan and zoom functions, this is the place to shop for bargains on all those and many more great K-Line train cars. If you need track layout and model building accessories, look for discount prices on such items as an electronic whistle controller with transformer, K-5004S sprung freight trucks, SuperSnap straight track, uncoupling sections, O-31 remote switches, "Super Snap" 0-42 curved track, and O or O-27 gauge track ties.
